It depends on the handling class. Clean cargo takes about 5-7 working days from dispatch, mixed cargo 7-10. Both travel by air, and customs can move either figure.
Clean cargo is a single class of goods — clothing, household items, furniture. It cannot carry food, cosmetics or medicines. Mixed cargo carries a range of goods together, food and clothing included. The two differ in rate, transit time and the day they depart.

Yes — from raising the export paperwork through to import clearance in Japan. The exception is meat products, seeds, fruit, cosmetics, medicines and imitation goods: we may accept them in Vietnam, but clearance into Japan is not guaranteed. Some goods also need a licence or a notification — ask us first.

No. This route is flown, all of it.
Above 140cm for the three sides together (60cm + 40cm + 40cm is the worked example), or above 30kg actual weight, the shipment is treated as oversized and charged on volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 6,000). Whichever of actual and volumetric weight is greater is the one charged.
Cargo insurance costs 4% of the declared value and pays against that value. Without it, compensation is limited to the freight you paid, capped at 3,000,000 VND per shipment.
